These pliers are great. Only ones I need now. Use to keep several for different things but these do it all . Cut braid or mono with ease, swap treble hooks, or pull hooks out. I’ve even opened beanie enemies with mine. Love them!!

I like these fishing pliers very much. Over the years I have tried quite a few pliers these are the most user friendly I have found. They come with a case that hangs easily on your belt or jeans. The bungee cord is long and well made so you don't have to take it on and off to use. No rust on the tongs, as well easy to clean.I think it is a very well thought out design so right or left hand can use with ease. I usually take a bit to review so I can say if I have any problems, and in all honest I have nothing bad to say about them. I have told and shown them off to many of my fishing buddies.

My dedicated pair of saltwater fishing pliers. They’ve even replaced my pair of Rapala’s. Those Rapala’s are great, but they are not meant to be used in Saltwater (which is my problem because I love the design so much). They rust a bit every time that I go near saltwater. I’ve gotten used to just rinsing them after use in an effort to elongate their lives as much as possible, but have accepted that I will continuously need to replace them every so often if I continue to use them in/around saltwater. These pliers here are just straight-up corrosion resistant. I laugh when I think about their tolerance for saltwater compared to the Rapala’s; which, agan (to be fair), are not actually meant for saltwater use. I haven’t seen any sign of corrosion wear on these yet, out of the multiple trips I’ve been to the beach, river, and jetties. Between the sheath (read on as it does have flaws) and the (decent quality) lanyard, they haven’t hit the ground, so the finish is still pretty much fully intact. The thin profile of the nose really allows me to use this on smaller fish as well (especially if they’ve choked my bait). The teeth on the pliers grip well, and I’m not sure if it’s the finish or not, but they seem to be less damaging to whatever they’re gripping than other material/pliers I’ve used in the past. The split ring tip is very hardened and works well on smaller and larger split rings alike; just be careful not to warp the smaller ones when using them because it can be easy to. The cutter is insane. Seriously. It blew through a strand of 30# braid and 40# fluorocarbon like butter. I couldn’t believe it after I tested the cutters and found that it was as effortless as it was. Obviously these blades will get dull (like any cutters on a pair of pliers), but these will be easier to sharpen than the standard design with the cutters at the base of the head/noses. The split ring crimper sections work as well as any, granted that a whole lot doesn’t need to go into designing those. The hook holes are, like on my Beyond Braid scissors, one of my favorite things about these; when tying a knot, you can just loop your hook through one of the holes and pull your knot tight without having to worry about hooking yourself - like I’ve said to others before, game changer for me, lol.The red safety is easy to quickly access and engage/disengage. I can tell that some time was put into designing this part, and as much as it may not look like it, it wasn’t a quick and easy addition like you might think. I appreciate this because (in my experience) most pliers with some kind of safety have always had at least one flaw, whether it was that it was too hard to disengage, it could pinch you when closing the pliers due to their design, etcetera. The rubber handles are very nice as well and until you feel them, the photo undersells them; they grip onto my skin like you need and want a pair of pliers to (especially for saltwater species of fish with tougher skin and mouths). The biggest downfall is that the sheath has a clip on the back of it that can slide over and attach to something. Unfortunately, it has a weak hold on thinner material such as backpack netting. Mine slides over the fabric of one of my backpack pockets (made from mesh) and it often has a very hard time holding in place when I try to pull the pliers out. But only then; they stay well in place when I’m not trying to remove the pliers.I have really come across some outstanding fishing gear lately and this is another one of those pieces that I’m really happy to have.UPDATE (12/16/2023): I have been using these routinely on all of my jetty, pier, beach, and boat fishing excursions. They have remained a staple in my fishing tools. I have to replace them now, only because I had to bend out some very large hooks, which unfortunately warped the pliers. These things are beasts. Minor rusting eventually became present, but not major or egregious. Again, these things are beasts!I would like to thank Amazon for allowing me to be a part of their Vine program. First off there's literally ot a bad thing I can say about this tool. It absa one stop shop for your fishing tools. I cut monofilament, braided and fluorocarbon all with zero effort. I now only have to carry one tool instead of 3 separate tools. I used to get so frustrated trying to cut braided line......but not anymore. They come with a carry case and a bungee so they dont fall in the water. I typically fish from a fishing tube so having just this one toll makes m life a ton easier when I'm on the lake or on shoe setting rigs up. This is an absolute steal for the price!!!! If you are an avid fisherman your gonna want to get one of these.

This is a really nice pair of fishing pliers, heavy duty with a nice grip. Love that you can also cut fishing line with it.
