Loved the look of this shoe but my always size 7 1/2 was way too big. Am wondering if the next size down will be too small!

I am an 8.5-9 so I usually order size 9s but this shoe fits just a bit big. Nice shoe though. Burgundy shoes are a bit more deep pink/purple red vs deep burgundy red. Depends what you are looking for.

The shoes are not symmetrical. I measured both and one is off by around 5mm. My right pinky toe is more exposed, almost spilling out of the shoe. I feel like I got a return item because they weren't as properly wrapped as the size 6.5 I initially bought but returned (through a friend traveling to the US). This pair was probably returned because of the symmetry problem. It would not be practical to return these shoes as I live overseas and shipping them back to the US would cost almost the same as the shoes and Amazon is only willing to shoulder a fraction of the shipping fees. Sorely disappointed because I love everything else about the shoe. For an expensive pair, I would expect better quality control.
