Fit my rx100m3 perfectly. Now much much easier to hold and ability to attach other gear

I’d recommend looking for a different model, even if it costs a bit more. This cage doesn’t let the camera’s flash fully extend, forcing it to stay angled at about 45 degrees, which is really inconvenient. Plus, the screw that secures the cage to the camera keeps coming loose, so I’m constantly tightening it. Overall, I’m pretty disappointed. Despite all the connection points (1/4" screw holes), they’re packed so close together that they’re basically unusable. In the end, it just ended up sitting in a drawer

Fits my RX100M7 and does what I need. The only issue is you can not access the HDMI port. At this time that is not a problem for me. I also wish the hand grip was a little more ergonomic. And accessing the zoom control is a little hard. Over all a decent cage for a reasonable price.

4 estrellas porque MINIMO deberia de traer una zapata fria para algun accesorio, se pueden comprar e instalarse posteriormente pero hubiera estado genial que la trajera de serie, (rx100 M5)

Bought this cage with a few extras attempting to get better audio for video with the RX100 V.Initial impressions are excellent. Finish and aluminum seems to be high quality. Grip is good, much improved, despite the position of my add-ons which makes it a little finicky to access zoom and shutter buttons from behind the camera. However, I can't fault the cage too much for that. All doors/controls/lanyard points are accessible and the threaded holes are compatible with otherwise branded attachments.One underrated feature with this cage is the incorporated arca-swiss style mount right in the base of the cage. I would ***caution*** you to consider whether using it will eliminate your tripod's safety mechanism. I had to remove my tripod ballhead's built in QR plate safety catch in order to be able to mount the cage directly with the built in mount. The sacrifice of the safety mount is worth it to me for the simplicity and reduced weight. I've somewhat (nothings' 100% safe) mitigated the safety loss it by leaving the lanyard attached to the camera and looping it around the ball head when I mount it. I can always mount a quick release plate compatible with the safety catch I change my mind.Overall, I'm very satisfied with it. If I had to nitpick, there's 1) the safety catch compatibility issue, and 2) I noticed that one of the tiny feet molded into the outside of the camera below the lens' brand logo creates separation from the cage. (See 3rd photo) Since its the only one of the four feet that comes into contact with any part of the cage it seems like this may have been a oversight, but I haven't noticed this causing me any real usability issues.For me, this cage is well worth it, and really the competition isn't offering anything that compelling over this option to justify their much increased pricetag, IMO.
