I got my puppy when she was 8 weeks old - and while the breeder gave me a ziplock bag of a sample of food - the brand was not one I had ever heard of nor was it one that was sold online to the average consumer. So, because I couldn't find the nutritional value of the food her parents were eating and the food she was being weaned onto - I switched her to this. It technically says on the bag that it's for puppies up to 8 weeks - but I highly recommend Baby Dog and Baby Cat to anyone who has a puppy or kitten that either 1) hasn't nursed from their Mom or 2) has nursed, but the nutrition to Mom or during weaning is not up to par.It helps give young puppies some additional nutrients they need (especially if they're smaller) and nursing Moms the appropriate nutritional support when pups are nursing.
