When I got my first Rounkin Airpods Max Charging Stand, I wrote that it's the accessory that Apple should include with the headphones. You just put the headphones in the stand when you're not using them - no cables too plug in, no dealing with that weird case that comes with them, you can do it with one hand...The new M3 model is now my fourth Rounkin stand - I ordered others as gifts - and it's even better. There's nothing wrong with the original model, but this one has deeper indentations to hold the headphones, which makes it hard to put them in wrong. The indented area is also softer with more friction ( it's rubberized) and the unit has more mass so it's more stable - again, not that the other ones are unstable. I also like the look.Oh, and the M3 comes with a USB charger, which ensures that it's the right V/W/A. The others require you to bring your own USB charger. These stands come with little magnetic adapters that you plug into the jack on the headphones. It comes with a Lightning one for the original AirPods Max, and a USB-C for the current ones. When using the stand, you want to ensure the magnets on it and the headphones click to make a good connection. The light on the front of the charger is supposed to turn on briefly when you first drop in the headphones (indicating that the magnets have mated properly), but in practice it only seems to do that when the headphones aren't 100% charged.I've had to reset my AirPods Max four times in the 1-1/2 years I've had the original model, when they wouldn't charge. The instructions with the M3 mention that, so I can only assume it's par for the course with these stands. One thing I'm not quite clear about is why this version supports the AirPods Max Sleep Mode, a power-saving feature that turns off Bluetooth and Apple's Find My feature. Maybe it helps preserve the internal rechargeable battery?Summary: the Rounkin M3 is a very clever, well designed product that's even better than the original one. That it's my 4th one says it all - but I said more anyway. :)

While this charging stand for AirPods Max has a sleek design and is easy to use, it has some drawbacks. The charging display delay is frustrating, as the indicator light takes about 3 seconds to turn blue. The stand is compact and stylish, but it doesn't provide a secure fit, causing the headphones to occasionally slip off. The high-quality materials are a plus, but the non-slip design at the bottom doesn't always prevent the stand from tipping over. Overall, it offers convenience but falls short in stability and reliability.

Not the color I would have liked but seems to work as promised. The build is really solid, it's very simple to use, and my AirPods Max fit in the charging stand great. No real complaints. I have heard some bad things about this charging dock and I am watching out for these things but so far mine has been solid. I think maybe the others might have had defective units but who knows. At least I am hoping that's what it was. All in all it has been keeping my headphones charged when I am not using them and makes for grading them quick and easy.

I think of this a necessity rather than an accessory. It practically eliminated my button press slips. It also protects from so many more screen cleanings due to finger prints. The edge towards the inside of the screen could be a little more beveled to let your fingers get just a little closer to screen corners and sides, but that may also just may be me, not quite sure. The light blue color looks so very good to me, but there is always the great standby in black. The access points are cut out for like headphone outs and USB are pin point accurate. It does not affect battery life, sound quality and does affect functionality for the better except for the slight problem that I've seen which is only a very minimal and may just be me.All in all I think this is a great value for your money and a great buy.Thank you so much Miter, this is a great product!Thank you for reading,Erin

Update:Unfortunately an issue with the headphones often not waking up from "sleep mode" has caused this 5-star review to slip to a 2-star review. About half the time when I remove the headphones from the stand they don't come out of sleep mode even with repeated pressing of the physical buttons on the headset. Removing the dongle and plugging the headphones into a physical lightning cable is the only way to wake them up.If only there was a way to disable the sleep on the unit, which is what I expect is causing the issue. Ultimately I'm going to end up figuring out how to open it up and see if it can be disabled, otherwise I can barely use it since the cable still needs to be out to wake the headphones up.Original review:This charging stand for the AirPods Max is pretty cool, to be honest. It isn’t quite perfect but the design is real good. I've had the airpods max for a few years now and this charging base is the best accessory for the airpods thus far.First impressions for setup were how easy it is to setup, including basic directions and the cable and power adapter block/plug. The base itself plugs in with a standard USB-C port and the included USB cable matches the color (white) of the unit. The base has enough weight and has rubber on the bottom, such that it doesn’t slide around even when you’re situating the headphones in the unit.Underneath the unit are 2 magnetic slots for the charging adapters, the unit I received had 2 lightning adapters underneath the unit and 2 USB-C adapters in the box. Once the charging adapter is in your headphones, it isn’t going to fall out and you only need to remove it if you’re going to charge your headphones with another cable. The base is smooth on the inside and won’t damage the headphones unless you manage to knock them into the unit very hard. To get the magnetic charging adapter to connect, I generally set the headphones in the base and then slowly rotate them a bit from the headband to get the click sound. The included power block provides 5V 1A to the charging base, which is the gap between perfect and good for me. The headphone charging base is good for sure, but the low power of the unit means that the extra USB charging port on the back is useful only for “slow charging”. Your usual phone charging blocks are 2-4A as of the year 2023+ as “fast charging” became more prevalent. As a headphone charging base, this thing is really cool. It does a fantastic job keeping my headphones charged up and storing them on my desk in a really clean and organized way. The styling of the stainless wrap-around the white unit matches other things on my desk, like the Magic Trackpad which is white with the silver edges.

This is my second Miter case purchase. I'm very pleased with both products. They are a bit expensive, but in the end, worth the investment. This FiiO streaming player case is very well made, and fits perfectly. The buttons are protected from accidental activation and the case protects the edges of the screen cover that I installed on my device. Another great product from Miter.

Well made, thought I may had issues with the buttons but none so far. I take the device out constantly and it hasnt lost it's snug fit. Great case.

Overpriced for what it is.Was hoping for something of substance, maybe a thin/padded back cover. Or at least a stiff/flap front cover for when in a pocket or bag to protect the display.Or even SOME sort of padding to protect the DAP on the corners. Or even perhaps one that slips over the OEM cover.🤷‍♂️The clear vinyl cover that comes with the JM21 protects MUCH better.(Doesn't look so great, but protects a heck of a lot better than this cover.)
