I got this period underwear for my 9-year-old daughter as an extra layer of protection. It must be used with pads some might think it can be worn alone, but that’s not the case. These panties help prevent leaks and avoid any embarrassing situations, which gives me peace of mind.

The material within the underwear is very poor. It does not wash, dry or clean well. It also did not guard well from embarrassing leaks for my daughter. I do not recommend. You get what you pay for.

We got these for our daughter as she approaches that age. We haven't used them yet as we're awaiting the arrival of said need. But, she's tried them on. They're comfortable and run true to size. The colors are cheerful and they're modestly cut, which is her preference (and ours). The fact that these are machine was AND dry, is a really nice touch...who doesn't like easy washability? The fabric is a good thickness and feels like a quality product. If these are even moderately absorbent, we'll be very pleased. If we run into issues, I'll return back and update this review accordingly.

I want to review this but it legitimately feels too weird to do. I fully support period underwear over the use of tampons, pads and other disposable options but I cannot report back on the efficacy of these. Based on the feel when I got them they seem like a better option for lighter days.

I got these for a little girl who struggles with bed wetting and am very pleased! These are not absorbant, but rather, have a lightweight, waterproof lining that is more of an added security. As a period underwear, you would still need a tampon or pad, but these would prevent any accidental leaking. For bed wetting: these will not absorb a full accident, but they do protect pajamas and sheets from little leakage. Traditional pull-ups absorb the accident and keep the child dry, which prevents them from waking up and realizing what happened. These on the other hand will feel wet and wake the child who can then run to the restroom.I love that they look and feel like regular underwear, which is perfect to avoid the embarrassment of pull-ups. So far, these have helped night-wetting tremendously! Accidents are much fewer.I am deducting one star due to their low absorption as advertised for period undies.
