I always enjoy a good metal puzzle and this is one of them!It actually didn't take very long to open once I seriously started working at it but then trying to put it back together was another story. That was the real challenge and enjoyment.What makes this puzzle different is how beautiful it looks - so shiny gold and silver and it has a nice weight to it. This is certainly a item you would love to have as a nick-knack on your office desk since it is a great conversation starter. Anyone that sees it will immediately want to pick it up and start solving it.Another nice feature is that it has a hollow area inside where I expect several young ladies may find a special ring someday!Overall it would make a great gift item for anyone!

Very beautiful, but…. It seems to be the puzzle is first how to take it apart and then put it back together again. So far, I have not been able to remove even one piece. And there are no cheater instructions. It’s a good looking decoration and conversation starter however.

It probably took me 20 minutes to get the first piece out, with a lot of fiddling and pushing. Then I tried to put it back and it took another 10 minutes to slide it back in. And I wasn't even sure how I did it exactly. It literally slid in while I was just fiddling with it while watching TV. So I took it apart and put it back a few times to practice that part of it. Once I got the first piece out, the whole thing really wanted to fall apart.This is going to be fun, for sure. Or a headache, one or the other.What I like about this is that it's fairly heavy and substantial, so it doesn't feel cheap at all. It makes a nice paperweight when it's not in pieces. And it looks attractive with two different colors of metal. It's nice just to hold it and fiddle with it without taking it apart.
