Personally not a fan of the transparency, it messes with my astigmatism. But a strip of adhesive vinyl from a cricut machine solved the issue. Rokid should really make a cover that clips on the front

I had high hopes for this as I watched several review videos before purchasing. When I saw the price drop on Amazon I jumped on it and got it delivered two days later. Thanks Amazon!Other reviewers have said that the edges are blurry, I did not think this would be bother me. Well, it bothers me. It is not just the edges, it is good chunk of the screen all around. I could not even see the bottom of my screen unless I lifted/pushed the glasses higher into my forehead. That alone made me want to return this, but I kept on testing it out to see if I could fix this. No adjusting fixed it, the screen is just too “big” to be visible in the glasses making the edges all around blurry and the bottom part of the screen gets lost.I have a 60” Samsung on my wall and this screen looked to be about 75” when viewing in front of the TV about 8 feet away. Then there is the screen reflection on the top-middle part of the glasses, I don’t know what is in the middle of the middle on the inside but it reflects the light all the time, so there is this large white reflection above the mirrored screen. Bothersome. The nose grip is not uncomfortable, it is soft and sturdy, but like I mentioned there is not adjustments that I could make that would give me a “comfortable” viewing angle unless I pushed the glasses flat into my forehead and tilted my head up. Even then the edges would remain blurry and the bottom would be lost. The screens are great though, really bright, easy to see what is in the middle of the screen. The dials were almost perfect for my vision, it did not feel like it went up to +5.00, my vision is +2.5 on my right eye and setting it to max still left my right eye a bit blurry. But not biggie, I put my contacts on and was able to see clearly with little adjustment. Except for the blurry edges and light reflection. The audio is pretty good. I tested it out with my Windows 11 laptop, Samsung Fold 6, and iPad Pro M1. On the iPad I could not control the volume, it was set to max level, on the other devices I easily adjusted the volume on the device (not the glasses).Overall these would be great if they had made the screen 5% smaller so that the edges are not blurry and the bottom of the screen is not lost. The description here, on the Rokid website, the Rokid application, and the instructions that came with the glasses said I can use AR mode. I could not get AR mode to work, I even reached out to the manufacturer, asked AI, searched online, watched videos. Nada. No amount of installing, uninstalling, plugging in, unplugging, permission settings made the AR mode pop up on the Rokid app on iPadOS or Google Play Store. One good thing is the manufacturer replied right away, within two hours of emailing the, they let me know that the AR feature is NO LONGER SUPPORTED for the Rokid Air so that’s that.Overall these glasses feel gimmicky, maybe the more expensive versions are better but I am left with a bad experience and not wanting to try this again.
