My department is having a budget freeze so we are buying our own replacement gear. This belt works great and the price didn't break the bank.

The bottom line is, after wearing for three weeks, this belt appears to be as good as the much more expensive American made versions of this type belt.In my 18 year career I have worn a few different types of duty belts. Our department issues basketweave. I really liked my last basketweave belt, a Bianchi. I opted for their accu-mold over leather for better (less) weight. When I gained a couple inches at the waistline I needed to get the next size bigger belt. I know, I know, I needed to lose weight, but that seems to be harder and slower to happen than it used to. So, I went belt shopping. I found the same make and model belt I was wearing. It cost ~80 dollars. I don't remember paying that much when I bought my last one, but that was more than six years ago. I decided to do a little shopping around to see if there was something similar, but less expensive. I found this knock-off at the bottom of the page on amazon for only $31. I figured I'd gamble and give them a try.I have been wearing the ROTOTACTICAL for three weeks now. When I unpacked it, my first impression was it looks and feels the same quality as the Bianchi. It has just as good of finish, the stitching looks good, the look good though not identical to the Bianchi. I transferred my gear over and packed my old belt to carry as a spare for a while. After three weeks, I have nothing negative to report. I am very happy everything seems at least as good as the Bianchi. I will continue to carry my old one for a while in case a buckle fails on the new one. I may even lose some weight and move back to the other belt.I try hard to buy American made products where I can. I own American made vehicles. I pay more for American made products when I can find them. I'm a little ashamed I purchased the China made ROTOTACTICAL, but if they are beating the price of American products at a 30/80 ratio for essentially the same product, I don't see much hope for the American version. I hope Bianchi/Safariland becomes competitive again soon.

Adjusts to size, looks professional. I like the buckle. It’s a bit stiff, but it gets the job done. Everything is secure and I feel comfortable sitting, standing and running with this duty belt on.
