UPDATED:Since submitting this review, Roborock has gone up above and beyond. I completely stand corrected on their customer service and will remain brand loyal. They replaced my unit, provided a $50 credit for any inconvenience, and tracked the shipment of my new unit until it was delivered to my home. Also, the whole Q8 system is working perfectly now, including the self-emptying feature. It’s a must-have for households with animals. The set up is quick and easy and the vacuum performs incredibly. Amazing suction… my house feels so much cleaner with my Q8. Thank you so much, Roborock!Original Review:I bought this Roborock in November 2024. The self-emptying feature has worked a total of three times. I followed all the instructions Roborock sent to remediate however, the issue still persists. Roborock wants me to mail the unit back for repair, which could take roughly a week for repair alone. Super inconvenient considering the size of house, the amount of people and dogs that live in it, and that I use this machine multiple times a day. I asked for an exchange, and they weren’t open to that idea. My suggestion would be to buy a less expensive Roborock without the self-emptying feature. Other than this key issue, the vacuum itself works quite well. I scored a 3-star for two reasons: 1. Customer service response didn’t meet my expectations or solve the problem (yet) without serious inconvenience. 2. The major reason I bought this vacuum was because I have a large house with dogs. Self-emptying was a big feature I needed. Well, this unit does not actually self-empty as advertised.I’ll add, this is my third Roborock. Because of my recommendation, my mom and sister also own a Roborock. I’m a huge stickler for customer experience. If you’re building a good product, it’s not that often that customer service is needed. That said, I expected more from Roborock with a unit this new (just exchange it, refurb the other, and resell it). I’m brand loyal, but this experience will make me look at other robot vacuum brands the next time I’m in the market for one. For now, I’m going to use this one as-is without the self-emptying feature I paid a premium for.

O próximo irei comprar com uma base que recarrega a água.Mas limpa muito bem atendeu minhas expectativas.

This is our first cleaning robot, and we are extremely impressed.Set up is extremely easy, basically the robot will do a quick LIDAR scan of your house to see all the walls, shape of your house. Then it does a quick clean, to fully map out obstacles in your home.The set up is easy, but not perfect. You will still need to properly up how your rooms are split up, and where thresholds like bumps or doorways are. It took me about 2 days to get the mapping down exactly how I wanted it so the robot wouldn't get stuck anymore.It does get stuck sometimes but the AI is very smart. You don't need to help it get unstuck if you set your map correctly.Object avoidance is really good. Like 8/10 good, its nearly perfect. Anything smaller than the height of the toe your shoes will be difficult to detect, so phone chargers, tiny cat toys, bobby pins, mini makeup bottles will all get sucked up. So make sure you are tidying up your floors for the best experience.The mopping functionality is extremely good, so much better than I expected. The mop pad becomes incredibly wet, it even drips on "Extreme" setting lol. Water tank leaves a bit to be desired. I have a 850sqft apartment, roughly 400sqft is reachable by my Roborock. The water only lasts 1 day and needs to be filled daily.The vacuum is INSANE. All the weaknesses of the mop are forgiven for this AWESOME suck power. It sucks harder than our actual vacuum. The vacuum Max+ setting is quite loud but quieter than a normal vacuum.Cat hair has never been more afraid of us.Bottom line:If you have pets, this guy is ABSOLUTELY worth the investment. Cleaning our floors on a daily basis, and with little to no hands on stuff, this lil guy will whisk you away from the hair balls and no hair in your coffee!!

La manguera del depósito de agua se cayó y no hay manera de abrir el depósito para colocarla de nuevo, por eso mi robot no puede mopear. Cómo lo soluciono? . Casi no uso mi robot y ya le paso esto

Tengo poco tiempo usando este producto pero ha funcionado excelente, el trapeado deja un poco que desear pero aun así la recomiendo ampliamente.

Los.pisos quedan opacosY se averió muy pronto, se quebró el.soporte de los rodillos cuando el.mismo robot se sube a su base y se le dificulta y esta intentándolo una y otra vez, acabo de comprarlo, espero tenga solución

To be honest, when we first ordered this product, I didn't have high expectations. That opinion was based solely on the first robot vacuum we purchased (EUFY) about 7 years ago. It was just the basic vacuum and performed pretty badly. The slightest obstacle would confuse it or cause it to get hung up. We basically stopped using it after the first few months.With this Roborock, it's a whole new ballgame!! It was easy to unpack and setup. Then, I performed the Quick Mapping to allow it to identify each room. I did need to use the "divide" feature to break up some large areas found during the mapping process. After that, I named the rooms, added some furniture and identified the floor types.It completed the vacuuming process for all the rooms flawlessly in the house without a single issue. This initial vacuuming phase is where it fine tunes each room layout from the Quick Mapping stage. The only thing I did during the first vacuuming phase was use my foot to keep it from going under a dresser or bed, which it remembers during subsequent vacuuming sessions. While watching, during the initial vacuuming, I was amazed at how well it navigating around areas. It would hug as close as possible to all edges, doing a fantastic job cleaning all the floors. I also liked how the vacuum would go into a more powerful mode when it transitioned from hard floor to carpet and then slow down once it was back on tile.The key feature we were looking for in this new vacuum is it traveling back and forth across the floor in straight pattern. This is much more efficient that the EUFY that just zig zagged all over the place, repeating across numerous paths. The Roborock will travel around the edge of a room and then go back and forth across the rest of the room. I realize I'm old and retired, but I have to admit, it was quite fun watching it do such a great job.IT ALSO WORKS WELL WITH ALEXA, SO THAT IS ANOTHER PLUS!!Needless to say, we are VERY please and give it the highest possible score!! The only feature left to test is mopping, so we'll update our review to include that. Best money we've spent in a long time.

La paso diario por toda mi casa el piso está muy limpio, nada más manchas complicadas no las trapea bien, pero la aspirada excelente
