The Ethernet Splitter 1 to 2 works as intended. You can connect your Ethernet cord that is connected to the internet into this device. Then connect two additional Ethernet cords into this device, and then connect those cords into two different computers, and the result is they are now both connected online. This RJ45 Ethernet Splitter connector worked with a computer using a V.P.N. and did not interfere with the internet speed. This splitter uses power and it comes with a power-cord which is a U.S.B to U.S.B. - C sized connection. Overall this item works great and as intended.

Review for RJ45 Ethernet Splitter 1 to 2, 1000Mbps Gigabit Network Splitter Adapter Extension Connector.Don't expect true gigabyte speeds when you are gaming. The heavy load will slow down the connection.You can only plug ethernet cables (1 in and 2 out). This seems obvious, but it has to be said. The USB port is only for powering the device.This is a budget friendly way to connect your low demand devices.

No loss of signal strength, or nothing with this little guy. It splits the cable coming from my modem to my XBOX and to my TV in the family room. While both items can use Wifi, I prefer to hardline internet whenever possible for better speeds, and better reliability. Have not noticed any degradation of speed, nor signal loss so I am calling it a win.

I have a 1000mps input that usually shows 900+ Mbps using OOKLA and other speed tests. I hooked this up to two of my computers and both register over 900Mbps. I was getting about 300j+ using just WIFI, but I'm very pleased with this splitter. I bought two 12-inch cables to go from the splitter to my side-by-side computers. The splitter's USB power cord is plugged into one of the computer's USB port, so I'm not having to run a long wire nor needing an AC adapter.
