It is always nice to have a spare battery for your video camera with you. I believe that I had purchased this along with a suggested "packaged deal" with the battery charger. This is an "original equipment" battery so I had expected to pay a little more for it which I did. I always read the other customer reviews if I can of anything that I am going to purchase and a lot of people had said that the generic style "will fit" batteries did not fit properly and they had to return them. Most of those people ended up purchasing the original equipment style battery as I did to begin with.

The real deal, official Ricoh DB-65 battery. Highly recommend getting a spare battery for your Ricoh GR II, especially on long trips. Mainly because you have to connect your camera to the charger vs charging your battery pack separately.

This battery fits the Ricoh GR perfectly. Third party batteries often do not fit, they are slightly too large and are not easily removed.

Great battery at a great price! Nothing like original equipment quality. I won't buy knock off batteries. They don't last!
