I got this for our 4 wheeler because the plastic fuel filter keeps breaking so this metal one is perfect for areas that get banged up a bit or where there is too much tension for a plastic one to hold up. Highly recommend!

***UPDATE****So I tried to install this today on a 150 cc engine. I came to the realization that it is absolute garbage. Trying to get the screen piece inside to line up is pretty much impossible let alone the fact that it is just plastic on plastic mating surfaces internally. In other words, there is no gasket to prevent debris from getting between the screen cartridge and the pickup tube. This thing is just under garbage, don't waste your money.I do like that you can take it apart and clean it. It has nice rubber gaskets on each end that pinch the center clear plastic window. The ends are made of CNC machined aluminum which looks good. I don't like though that they say it is glass when it is not. In the third picture you can see the remnants of the tab where it was broken from the plastic mold. You can also tell by tapping on it with a hard object it is plastic. Glass and plastic respond completely differently to fuels. Plastic breaks down, glass doesn't. It's for this reason I gave it three stars instead of five.
