These are really sturdy and easy to put together and to fit to the door frame. They have an excellent closing mechanism which is so easy to use unlike others I have tried. Good value for money and we have two.

Easy to install. Very sturdy. I like the tall feature and the easy open handle. Only complaint is that it is a bit narrow for us full-hipped folks haha. Have to turn sideways to get thru it myself. But keeps the dogs where they need to be and is a 5-star in my books.

The best gate I've had. I've gone through a lot of gates with twins and a younger child. They got over and figured out all of them except for this one. I'm sorry I didn't get this one from the beginning. It's very tall and is installed right into the wall so it's not going anywhere. It's a little shaky but my boy is really strong. And it probably wasn't the best installation. I recommend you get this one if you want something sturdy and in place. The door is very easy to open and close. We go through it constantly. It's almost perfect

Purchased 2 of these for our dogs (large Golden Retriever & German Shepherd). My wife installed both of them - these were screwed into the door frame. Be mindful of how you want the door to swing when installing. Follow the directions exactly & make sure you trace the location of the rubber disks before you drill. Make sure to center the gate as best possible. First one took about half hour to install, the next one was easier about 10 minutes. If it's wobbly then you don't have it lined up right. Our Shepherd is young & a bit of a handful. He jumps up on them all the time but they're very sturdy. Would be great for young kids - bars are narrow enough that no heads are getting stuck. Didn't try it with just tension...100lb dogs need something more stable but it might be ok with small kids?The slide lock is decent. Added Velcro tape to ours just to be sure. The pass-through is a little tight - may not be for somebody of a wider stature.

Negatives:1. The top of the gate gets secured but the bottom doesn't if pulled. As most boy toddlers both push and pull, it becomes obvious that this gate can be pulled back with enough weight.2. The bottom horizontal rail is needed to give the whole thing structure, but is also a huge trip hazard especially if you place the gate higher due to 1/4 round moulding or other unsuitable trim.Positives:1. I can install this virtually anywhere in my house.2. It's easy to install and uninstall, with no damage to the walls.3. There is a "anchor" system that is provided to secure the gate even more to the wall. (It reduces the chance that the grips give way)4. My 5 year old can operate it seamlessly while keeping her 15 month old brother at bay. :-)
