As it’s label says, this is a very reliable matte surfacing medium. Used normally in fairly small amounts it completely pushes the gloss down into a dead flat. If increased in amount it will create a more transparent colour. But if you over use this medium expect to see so your paint appear a bit lighter in value. That whitish look is just a product of how matte medium works. And that’s normal. Thing is, most matte mediums don’t produce that whitish effect because they usually don’t contain enough of that material to really work reliably. This one does! I’ve tried so many as a studio art teacher. Use it in appropriate amounts and you’ll get a perfect result and you'll find the bottle will last a pretty long time. I love this ultra matte medium.

Me gustó mucho, es mucho más concentrado de lo que esperaba, los resultados son muy buenos y deja brillante la pintura, esto puede arreglarse después si utilizan un protector mate.

Genial para repintar muñecas el único inconveniente es que hay que diluirlo en caso de repintar juguetes ( art toys) y tener un buen pincel o aerografo

As a beginner painter, I have always been wanting to try the Bob Ross method for painting. After trying a byob paint class I went all in, but with acrylics instead of oils. After wanting to try some wet-on-wet blending I came across this on a forum. It does the job, but not as well as oils. I am satisfied that it takes longer to dry depending on the solution that you mix this and the paint with. Overall I am satisfied with the product and I like how it works.

I had been having a problem with my acrylic paints drying too fast that I couldn't blend them as much as I wanted, so I decided to see if this product worked like it said it would. I was so pleased to find that it really prevents the paint from skinning over on the palette and allows blending on the painted surface beautifully.I have been trying to paint a picture of my grand son's service dog as a gift for him and was really frustrated with getting the fur color right. I wanted a cream undercoat with reddish gold fur mixed in on the surface. This spray was the solution I needed and a rake brush. I could spray the section I wanted to blend in the darker fur, then move on the next section and do the same. The wetting spray made the surface very workable even if it had start to get a tacky surface. I don't know if it is supposed to dry to a gloss or if I just used so much of the spray it dried to a shine but I was very happy with the surface after it had dried.Over-spray dried as little dots on my table, but they came off with a damp sponge that had a pot scrubber surface on one side. After the first time I learned to be more careful about where the spray was going.
