It could wake a dead bass from 100' away. Produces big splashy bubbles on every pop.When you need to be subtle, put it away. When need to get attention, this is the bait.

The rebel popper is truly the best popper on the market. I prefer the magnum model, longer than the Pop'r lure at 3" rather than 2". The magnum can be cast longer distances and disturbs more water than its smaller brother, the Pop'R.I fish numerous times each week for largemouth bass and northern pike. The magnum catches fish, period.There can be one difficulty. I use a steel leader to avoid bite-offs by hungry pike. The lure head is concave, and it can be a chore to easily attach the popper to this leader. But the concavity makes this lure deadly, and I hope Rebel never changes the design. Simply put, it is flat out the best popper in results than you can put into your tackle box.

Brilliant lure which was bought as a backup for one that I purchased way back in 1969 that was a bit munched up .

This Popper is my all time favourite lure. To see the fish smash this lure on the surface, sometime the lure explodes out of the water, other times you can hear the chopping sound of a solid fish hook up, either way its heart pumping stuff.This Rebel POP R lure is the best i've used for the last 20 years and unchanged in its design, there are plenty of other types but i always come back to this one when the fishing gets tough usually with positive results.I use them on Barramundi, Trevally, Salmon, any surface feeders.At night with a full moon for BARRA is a favourite, this lure has a great sound with a sharp short jerk and even has a great action with a continues retrieve.I'm never without couple no matter where i'm fishing, boat, rocks, jetty,creek, river, fresh water, salt water, or even at the boat ramp while waiting for my mate to get back from/with the car.You would be surprised what's around a boat ramp, this is the lure to use to find out.
