As a first time umpire, i decided to go with a helmet as opposed to just the facemask. I am very happy with this item. I feel very secure when wearing it. I like the matte finish.

Great fit, great protection, but feels a bit heavy when you start using it...just have to get used to it. I have used this for a full season of softball and the only issue I've had is on high pop fly hits, I sometimes lose sight of the ball. Other than that, I really like this helmet.

Ordered this helmet and it shipped the next day - received a couple of days later! We are very happy with the quality of it. Had a few of the boys use it that very weekend (and later weekends) and they all loved it. They felt this helmet gave them a really good range of visibility. Sizing seemed accurate to their true hat size. Is adjustable so the other boys could get it to fit them as well. Would order again when my son grows out of this size.
