Worked perfectly, but kept coming out of collar so I purchased a cover and added to the collar.

I ordered this collar with tracking device so that I can keep track of my large dog on an upcoming trip which invludes a flight. The results of my testing are mixed.First the great news: the tracker itself is awesome when used with iOS as specifically noted in the product description.. Very easy to set up, a great signal, and an accurate description of where your pet is when the devices with it. This makes the device a good value considering the cost of most tracking devices and holders. (Do not attempt to use this with Android technology.) I also like that this device uses 2032 batteries. We always have these on hand and I know that they last for a very long time.I've not had an opportunity to test it outside Bluetooth range (it's unclear from the manual or product description whether or not it should function outside Bluetooth range using "Find My"). I'll update this review once I've had that opportunity.Now for the fit of this collar: The product description photos clearly show that the collar should range from 13 to 22" long. As you'll see from one of my photos, the maximum length of the collar with the tracker holder in place is only 17 inches. Since my dog requires a minimum 19-in collar, I will not be able to use this collar.I will separate the tracker from the caller and use the tracker because, as stated earlier, it's a great value all by itself.I highly recommend this collar and tracker for small and medium dogs. If your dog requires a collar longer than 17", I'd hold off.

This collar is a great way to keep track of your dog. It fits a medium to large dog and is lightweight. The battery last for a long while and has good Bluetooth capabilities. Highly recommend

It says in the owners manual that all smart phones will work & android users can down load an app that will allow them to" synch " with the collar, we have tried and tried and tried and both being stubborn neither wanted to admit defeat but we cannot in any way shape or form make this system boot up with or without the android app, androids users beware. Its probably really neat if you have an I phone that is, they should just tell ya that from the start.

This has proven to be a challenge to get it to work with my Android phone. From finding the app needed to having to buy a new battery 2032, I've found that it's best to always use a fresh battery with anything requiring one for anything made in China, especially something that needs to cover a significant distance between the two items. It's a good concept to add to your things to bring with you when you go out with your dog but nothing keeps them safer than you doing your job of keeping your eyes on them. That having been said misfortune happens and with the correct iPhone or watch this is basically a tracker for your dog, about the size of a quarter it fits into a secure holder on the included collar which should fit most average size dogs. I originally got this for someone else but was hoping to test it first and now will have to let them do that due to the preference for iOS setups. I will add to this review with more info about distance tracking, signal strength and battery expectations very soon but wanted to make clear the reality for phone preferences regarding setup and most likely ease of use.
