My sister is recently divorced and she had an iWatch bought by her ex-husband. Anyway, without getting into too many details I asked her what she wanted for Christmas and she asked for this watch. She claimed that her Apple Watch was insecure in that he was somehow tracker her text conversations using the watch. That was the main reason, and she has loved it and has no complaints regarding it.Apple watches are over-priced and most people don't even utilize the majority of its functions. My sister says she loves its compact size. It accurately counts her footsteps, and let be real how often have you scratched your head and the iWatch notified you that you met your gold today? She answers phone calls on it regularly and she enjoys the colored bands to coordinate with her outfits.One thing I enjoy about this watch is that it was was insanely well priced. you get all of the functionality and durability at with a sleek watch designed to fit the modern woman of today that doesn't wish to spend $400. Oh, and it has an accurate heart rate monitor.

Functionality- all the data I like to see when I’m exercising: HR, distance, calories, time - in real time, no need to download to app to see it. Twenty four activity choices to select that aren’t just for triathletes or die-hard athletes- think yoga, zumba dancing, or skipping. The screen is easy to scroll through to get to desired function. If you want to pair with the app, music, weather and messagesare available. It has stop watch and timer feature for interval training. Other features as well. Has functioned as expected so far.Design appearance: I was attracted to this watch b/c of shape, size and look of the watch face- rectangular (not large bulky round or square) and it did not disappoint. It’s easy to read whats on the screen. Appealing colors, feel and flexibility of the band- very comfortable and you get 4 bands in a nice variety of colors. If you’re looking for a moderately priced, sleeker shaped watch that flatters your female wrist, I highly recommend it.

When it comes to the size, appearance and funcitons on this watch, I really, really, like it.Being small boned finding bracelets or watches that fit and look nice is such a chore. Not one to typically wear jewlery putting this watch on it only took minutes befor I didn't notice it was there, it was light weight and streamlined, and what a great price and value... or is it.After charging, and navigating much like a cell phone, with swipes and only one button, menus and selections can be navigated. There are a notable amount of options and functions, like fitness tracking, heart rate monitor, oxygen saturation, breath counting and more. I liked the clock skins.After downloading an app on your phone and syncing via bluetooth to your watch you are ready to go. There's the rub. Having an Andriod, going to the Play Store to download the phones' suggested app, Glory Fit, I noticed the 10 million downloads and the 3.6 rating for the app. I scrolled down to the Data Safey area and selected See details.When I looked at what this app Data Collects, I started thinking twice. Going back to the download page I accessed the About this App and clicked on the arrow and took a look at the Permissions, view details. That was an eye opener. I'm assuming a number of permissions can be shut off once the app is loaded, but I didn't get that far to find out.Comparing the privacy and data collection of the Google Fit to Glory Fit, the thing that stood out the most, is that with me providing all the information we agree to give over to Glory Fit a Chinese company, when they clearly state, it's reading all of my contacts and my call log, is that the value to Glory Fit is in accessing and using my data, by providing a low price watch. I mention these few difference because Google Fit does not read my contacts or call log, and I have other concerns with Glory Fit. The finishing touch is the Glory Fit app states they may share with, third parties, these data types, Location, Health and fitness, and Device or other IDs. Where as I'm use to the Google Fit statement, no data shared with third parties.Like the watch, don't like the app. Do I recomend the watch, yes, am I going to download the app, no. Which as you know without the app, you don't even have a timepiece. I hear there are alternative apps, but that's anothers days work. So you can see I'm between a rock and a hard place, so I'll split the middle with 3 stars, mo make that 4, think positive I'll find another app, and the additional colored wrist bands are so pretty. lol

One of the easier fitness watches I've tried. The watch band itself was comfortable, and I appreciate that it came with multiple color options; it's both unobtrusive and looks nice. This watch is convenient, not bulky, and although the face is small, it's very responsive to touch and navigates easily. There are a few different backgrounds, I feel like a few more options would have been nice but I did have one that I liked. Seems to be relatively sturdy, have accidentally bumped it a few times against furniture with no issues.It does not take long to charge, and the charge lasted me most of a week. I feel like the stats it was tracking were pretty accurate, and the Gloryfit app proved to be pretty easy to use, even if it feels pretty basic. For this price point, it's actually fantastic.
