This is a solid built heavy steel frame (not just cheap China metal) children’s go kart but hey, it hauled my 175lbs around like nothing. Amazing purchase, I may eventually get another. It’s a blast for all the kids on the street

My 5 year old son received this as a Christmas present and loves this thing. We still haven't turned the speed up to "3" yet, but he is having a lot of fun driving up and down the street and drifting. If you're on the fence between this and another one of the plastic ride on cars, get this one! The frame of this go kart is metal and seems very well built. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I received a defective product, the charging port is POSSIBLY broken because the product will not charge. When speaking to Radio Flyer they want me to disassemble a brand new go kart to diagnose and repair the problem. They would not even consider replacing the product. This was a manufacturing defect and they should have sent me a replacement go kart ( I was happy to return the current one) I was not okay working on and diagnosing the problem with a Brand New go kart. Amazon is refunding me my money, but I’m still out the time for assembling the kart, 3 weeks conversing with radio Flyer and now disassembling the go kart to ship it back and taking it to a UPS store. Poor customer service from Radio Flyer. I would not recommend buying a Radio Flyer product for that reason alone. Amazon as always takes care of the customer.

I bought two of these for my 9yr old daughter for Christmas after she asked for a GoKart like our neighbors. Well, our neighbor has the $1400 Segway NineBot. Between the pricing and the troubles my neighbor has had with the NineBot, I knew that wasn’t an option. I am SO glad I found these karts! We bought the grey ones. They go 12mph and have slick wheels so they intentionally spin out or “drift.” Honestly, the kids have more fun with these than the NineBot (including our neighbor). I’m 130lbs and even I can comfortably drive one so my daughter and I can race together. The karts are really fun, reliable, great battery life (kids played on them for 1.5 hours before a recharge) and sturdy/well made. I’m super impressed with these karts and have been telling everyone to get one. Also, we added bike lights to the karts for added safety as they do not come with any.

My 3 year old son loves this. He knows how to drive well and already had a tractor that went 5 mph so it was an easy adjustment for him. The handling is much more responsive on the go kart though, which took some getting used to. The acceleration isn’t too responsive/immediate, which made it easier for him to get used to the faster speed. He is in the 70th percentile for height and we had to put a thick blanket behind his back so that he could reach the pedal, but it works! The drift feature was a huge surprise to him, but he loved it. He only wants to go on the fastest speed, lol.
