Overall the head unit is solid, the install took a while. For reference it took about 4 hours 30 minutes almost 5 hours , I did all the work myself. A good portion of that time was trying to figure out why the audio wasn't working. Honestly wasn't the most difficult install but can be frustrating at times due to lack of instructions. Like someone else stated in their review, YouTube is your best friend for this as theres minimal instructions provided. Also if you're looking to install a back up camera buy one in advance so you don't have to redo this whole process. I didn't have a backup camera so I ran the wire through the bottom so I didn't have to take everything out again but would HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing so. Would also recommend if you have (or planning on buying) and amplifier.Installation: before you can install the new radio you have to disconnect everything. That means tearing apart the dash, unscrewing tons of screws and unplugging (mostly) everything thats connected to the radio. Like stated above that's the easiest part, for me at least. Wiring is a different story. Finding out what plugs into what was a gamble. Some of the plugs were easy to figure out while some had me thinking for a bit. Although they're labeled, it wasn't completely clear to me. (3.5/5)Performance: The radio has a little bit of lag (which most do) but isn't terrible. There's lots of apps and features, some I haven't even tried yet. I only really use it for Spotify and maps and so far I can't complain. Both apps run well, however with maps it can be a little delayed. (4/5)Appearance: Before you ask, yes it's slightly visible from the outside, however it's nothing too noticeable. I wouldn't consider it a blind spot myself but know it does stick out a little bit. In terms of the actual screen, they have a decent amount of customization options. They have factory presets and/or you can set a custom wallpaper. The new mount for the original screen was a good fit and didn't have any problems with it. (4.5/5)Final Thoughts: System works great and it's definitely an upgrade from the OEM radio. Would recommend but please save yourself some time and do some proper research before you buy otherwise it'll be a nightmare to install. Customer Service was friendly but wasn't very useful, so I had to figure out what I was doing on my own. If an eighteen year old with no prior knowledge about stereos could do it, you can too.

I have a very old sound system in my car and I wanted an inexpensive upgrade, this does the job, easy install, easy instructions. It does glitch a little if I’m going through a rough road. Maybe a stronger cord connection is needed, I’m not sure, I tightened everything and still had the same problems. The sound is great you just need to adjust the settings a bit, and the CarPlay is great to have in an older vehicle. Touchscreen has a bit of a lag but nothing too noticeable. For the price it’s actually a good system. I would definitely purchase again if I had the opportunity. Fit perfect in my 2010 accord. If you aren’t sure about your fit they have a customer service line that you are able to call and they can walk you through the process.

Installation was lengthy but fairly simple, product worked pretty well besides the hissing noise here and there. But, after installing the unit it caused my power locking to not work, my windshield wipers, and headlights to not work, overall messing with a lot of the essential parts of my car, I reinstalled the old unit and everything went back to normal. Will be getting a refund.

The is no documentation and no reference to any Youtube that I could find in the box. I found a guy on Youtube, John Nguyen, who installed a couple of these 2008-2012 Accord head units and his direction are the only way I was able to finish the job. This installation is not for the faint of heart. The units that John Nguyen installs in the Accord are different, but the car is the same so removing the various panels was much easier with his help. Following his step by step directions helped tremendously. The unit ended up looking great and working reasonably well after a lot of tweaking with the controls to lower the volume of the navigation compared to the music. We were using the unit in CarPlay mode and listening to music. The Siri Navigation voice was very loud, and tinny sounding. I spent hours and was finally able to adjust Siri’s navigation to be near the same level as the music. There were a couple of unintuitive controls that I needed to set: Music set to high when navigating (i.e. navigating not hugely louder than music.) Set my phone controls to have lower siri voice level. After a lot of tweaking the system looks and works like a system twice it’s cost, being able to keep the existing upper display and move it lower is cool.Even though I think it looks great and works pretty well, I felt like many beginner installers would not be able to complete the job because the documentation is weak and I could not find an Youtube from someone who actually did this particular kit.Non-ideal things that lower the score:1. I bought a rear camera and installed it as well. The cable coming out the back of the head unit was labeled “Camera In” and 12V OUT. I took a gamble and thought they might mean 12V IN that triggers the camera on head unit to display the camera when backing up. I wired it up and said a short prayer and it worked.2. I had to cut the plastic box in order to plug in the lower box.
