It pretty much does what I expected. I received this for my review & I gave 4 stars because it does seem a bit expensive for what it is. I realize model specific accessories don't sell in bulk so I'll overlook that. The magnet connection seems strong so I wasn't worried about the Go falling out. The mount stayed on my cap brim without any issues but I didn't do anything super athletic. As long as you don't wipe out (or have your cap fly off) while using it, I suspect it'll last the life of the camera. It doesn't provide much camera protection if it were dropped.

I lost my GO 3 hat clip that came with my kit, i was lucky and fortunate to find another comparable on Amazon. I use it all the time to film POV shots and attach to other surfaces to get those incredible angle shots!

I tried this on several caps and hats. The thicker the bib, like trucker/baseball cap, the more secure. When I tried on a sun hat, I didn’t feel it would hold as snug. The manufacturer states this is for a cap, so I gave it five stars. Be sure to test before any strenuous activity.
