This helmet clamp is a good concept but it just didn't work for me on either of the two helmets I tried it on. One issue is that the clamp fits right over where the front vent is on most helmets. These have moving parts to open and close the vent and squashing them with the clamp isn't the best idea. I did manage to tighten it down pretty snugly on one of my helmets but I could still easily slide it around with my hand. It was not secure enough for me to trust it on a ride. It is too bulky to be used as a side clamp on your helmet. You will drag your head all over it when putting the helmet on. This could be a good fit for you if you have the right helmet but it didn't work for me unfortunately. I will say that it is built very well. I tightened it quite a bit to try to get it to stop sliding around and it held up.

Only caveat is that the camera mount breaks easily

I used this twice. The lock to the ball joint already broke. Luckily this didn't happen while I was riding, otherwise my camera would have been destroyed.

I ordered this as a backup chin mount for a motorcycle helmet. I use this with a DJI Osmo Action 4 and a magnetic mount and it works great! Easy to mount and take off.

It is a nice chin clamp. Its nice because you don't have to permanently stick or seal a mount on the helmet.It works great with the camera but if you don't tighten it right to the end it is loose enough to slip off.So far so good but I am a bit skeptical that it may still slip off.
