I ordered these Pulltop Men's Wide Barefoot Sandals in size 11, my usual US shoe size, hoping they’d serve as a light, minimalist camp shoe while backpacking. With a nerve issue in my right foot, the wide fit was a bonus. Unfortunately, I missed the size chart at the page’s bottom. My foot measures 10.4 inches, which, per the guide, means I needed a size 9—shocking, since I haven’t worn that size in any shoe since around 7th grade. Heads-up: measure your foot and follow the chart strictly, or you’ll end up with a poor fit like I did.That said, the sandals are impressive. Each size 11 shoe weighs 7.34 ounces—not as ultralight as I’d hoped, but still reasonable. They’re exceptionally well-made and durable, with a soft yet protective sole that’s grippy and sturdy. Nothing feels flimsy here. My wife even complimented their look. If the sizing had worked out, I’d give these a solid five stars.The sizing oddity cost them a point. But if you measure carefully, I think you’ll love these.

I'm returning these. My feet don't fall properly when wearing them. They aren't bound closely enough to the sandal and so when I walk around in them, the outer edge of my foot comes down on the attachment point which attaches the straps to the sole. I am not satisfied.

These are absolutely fantastic for a barefoot feel. I have the worst issues with plantar fasciitis. These shoes help my foot to spread out and move well. LOVE them.

These are probably OK for low use travel sandals (like going to the pool or the beach), but they have some problems which would prevent me from using them for anything serious. Most importantly, the logo patch that's next to my big toe sticks over the edge of the webbing just a bit, and it's very scratchy. Just wearing these for 20 minutes, I've already got a hot spot forming there. Maybe the tag can be trimmed. It can't be removed because its stitching is what's closing the loop on the webbing.My other big problem is that you get in and out of it by using the heel strap, and there's not really sufficient velcro there for this to last long. I'd much rather this had a flat buckle on the top.They're thin, which is great for travel, but they don't provide much cushioning. It'd be fine for sidewalks or sand, but I wouldn't want to wear these on a rocky beach.That they come in wide sizing is appreciated, but I'm not sure this is accurate. It does feel like it has a nice wide width, but it's longer than it should be. I feel like I'd get the same effect wearing a normal 10 or 10 1/2.

One star off for comfort, one star off for price.These black sandals look great and pack down nearly flat, thanks to their minimalist "barefoot" design. They're incredibly lightweight and easy to throw in a bag, which makes them a solid option for camp shoes or quick trips to the beach.That said, they’re not comfortable for much actual walking. There’s almost no padding—less than a typical flip-flop—so you really feel the ground beneath you. Over any significant distance, that lack of cushioning becomes hard to ignore.The design also has a few quirks. The straps are meant to adjust through the sole, but the rubber grips the strap too tightly, making it tough to make any adjustments while the sandal is on your foot. Plus, the small tabs where the strap connects to the sole stick up and rub against the sides of your foot, which gets annoying fast.At the current price of $36, they feel way overpriced for what they offer. If you need something ultralight and packable, they might work for you—but comfort and adjustability leave a lot to be desired.
