Bought this because I have a tendency to not read the items that come with the stuff I buy, I’ll say this, the one I’m using that came with the DashCam works great and it’s sturdy as any windshield mount.

I live in Arizona. It gets Hoooot here. The base of the camera mount that goes into the camera melted and malformed so it won't hold the camera straight. The new mount is working but the camera is melted slightly too. I guess that kind of heat isn't good for the product. Otherwise works.

The original one got loose and this was great replacement
