I purchased these for my son's 20" bike to allow for training wheels to be installed. The metal on the extenders is so soft I stripped three of the four bolts during tightening by hand with no effort. The metal was so soft it deformed and twisted. These became completely useless and I had to replace them with another brand. While made of steel they definitely were poorest possible quality. Not worth the metal they are made from. Wish I could give negative stars. Waste of time money and disappointment for my son as we had to wait for the replacements.

Thread pitch differed from extension bolt to extension bolt and no axel bolts included to solve this issue. Brackets did not fit the frame of a huffy bike, one of the most common children’s bikes available.

The extender on the left side doesn't stay tight so you may want to buy some thread lock or some lock washers. Washers should've been included because the extender nuts doesn't have a flange like the original nuts that came one the bike. I added hose clamps to hold the training wheels in place.

We got these in anticipation of possibly needing them and not having them for a Christmas bike for our grandson. As it turned out we didn’t need them so I can’t say much about them. From what we can determine they seem to be the perfect solution for their purpose but we just didn’t need them.
