The product fit perfectly, worked like a charm and was easy to install. I definitely recommend it.

Pros-Good quality cover-Easy to install-seems to fit fine enough even on an uneven panel surface.Cons-I had to use my old screws and my old screws didn't fit into the bottom screw hole, only the top one.-door automatically springs closed when opened (this could be a good or bad thing depending on your preference)-door opens a little less than 90 degrees instead of close to completely.Overall it doesn't seem to be the best in terms of functionality, but the aluminum cover is nice, looks clean, and does the job if you simply want to cover the outlet. Recommend 👍

Based on a review saying they’d used this to cover a light switch we took a chance it would work for that purpose. It’s too bad the product description isn’t clearer, as this comes with a plate for an older style outlet, the removal of that plate allows it to fit on a new style outlet, or a rocker light switch, and there’s another plate to put in place for a toggle light switch. We are using it indoors to keep a toddler away from a light switch they oughtent touch. It came with a sturdy foam piece to mount behind/seal it if it were outdoors and the flap also has a foam/rubber seal. It is quite easy to see that outdoors it would be quite waterproof. It was less than 5 minutes to install. We placed it upside down for our indoor toddler-proofing purposes. I would definitely use this outdoors. The best part is similar items marketed as a “toddler proof” light switch covers are two to three times the price. For ten dollars, we are very pleased!

This is an excellent product. I'm using it to "cover" an interior on-off switch that activates a normal 110v electrical outlet/receptacle. [switched receptacles were common in 1960s-era CA tract homes; much less common nowadays] Anyway, this switch is in my office, and sometimes visitors will "switch" it "off," thinking that it controls a desk lamp; however, it really powers my router, printer, phone chargers, etc., that I want "on" all the time. The "cover" is cast metal, and consists of a "frame" and a spring-closed-hinged "cover". My item was white, and had "Bell" embossed in raised letters on the cover [this was not shown on the picture]. The name doesn't bother me. On the frame are embossed the "UL" listing stamp, and some other building-code info. This is normal [perhaps required?] as this product can be used outdoors. There are foam/rubber gaskets for the frame/cover to protect against moisture or dampness. As you get the product, it is setup for a "GFI"-type receptacle, however, there are templates included for a regular duplex electrical outlets, an on-off switch [which is the one I used], and some sort of "round" base switch or outlet. To use it with an on-off switch, you need to remove the cutout portion of the foam in raised cover bump-out [this is obvious].There are various switch protectors and covers [and also "lock-out" covers, which have special warning labels]. This cover is well made [cast metal], attractive, not too obvious, and usable indoors or outdoors. It can be locked or zip-tied/"tagged" closed, but I'm not using this feature. It is the cheapest of the switch covers available on Amazon. It is very versatile, and highly recommended.
