I have spent years creating a smart home system where lights now turn on and off simply by entering a room. Despite this, my wife, children and visitors have tendencies to flip light switches on and off. Rather than continuing the cycle of reminding them to simply leave the switches on, I purchased these plate covers and never looked back. We got these for our very tall 2 year old that can reach the light switches already. He was constantly turning lights in and off so we put these on the light switches he readily has access to and he’s stopped. We kept them locked for the first little while and now we are able to not fully push them down so it is easier for us to turn lights on and off, but he doesn’t even bother the lights anymore. They are durable and easy to install. Definitely worth it.

I purchased several of these for use in the house to protect switches that need to stay on at all times (i.e. switch that powers the Ring motion detecting flood lights). They work perfectly at keeping my family from turning off switches. Install is nothing more than removing the existing screws and putting them right back with the cover. I love it!

This product does exactly what it’s supposed to. Easy to install, sturdy with nice clean lines that make it blend into the background.
