I was so excited when this arrived! I have gone through so many wood burners that I finally decided to just spend the money on a good one. The only reason I gave it 3 stars for “for beginners” …. I would say nope! I think anyone who wants to start out wood burning should get a pen style burner just to the hang of needed pressure and heat.I did find it somewhat difficult to change the nibs at first. But once I got a feel for the process it was fine.

Just started my hobby and after reading so many reviews around the web, I went this u it and glad I did. Well made, heats up real fast and temp adjustments are quick.

I really have not given it enough time to be able to fairly judge the product. I plan on getting to work on it as soon as I have purchased my supplies. I have a few and scrap pieces of wood that I practiced on with a small $10.00 wood burner. I fell in love with the art and decided to jump into the TRUArt. I know I,m going to love it! I have so much to learn. I feel so welcome as a new customer I feel we will have many exchanges of thought. Thank you so much for the encouragement.

I absolutely am astonished at the differences of wood burning this tool has brought me. I get projects done wayyyy faster than my other burners. I am glad I have graduated to a professional wood burning set. This was a huge game changer for me. It heats up within 10-15 seconds and cools down within less than a minute so you can change the tips on them much quicker. I also got the set that includes the extra tips and I highly recommend purchasing that one. The extra tips are a huge plus, and you will end up having to buy more eventually anyways.
