I bought this to replace a similar item I've had for about 10 years and now need a smaller version. My old one has rounded edges and is shallower, so it's very easy to reach in and pull out my earrings by pushing them up the side of the little compartment. This one has square edges and is deeper. I can't simply slide them up the edge. In fact, I need two fingers to remove anything, and the compartments are not large enough for that. That makes this unusable.

I am impressed and so happy with these jewelry trays. I wanted something I could use at home in my top dresser drawers and chests. These are very well made; the link gs are perfect, with bumpers on the bottom, and are stackable. I love the quality - I will be ordering more.

My biggest concern is that it wouldn't fit in my rather small vanity drawers but two of these organizers fit in each drawer laying flat side by side. It definitely makes all my jewelry nice to look at and find which I appreciate
