This item even at its list price of $10 was a great find to replace a stripped out gear on the one on my garden window. And at a sale price at around $6 it was a steal. Just had to unscrew the old one and use a drill on the rivet to remove it. The new one came with a pin and split steel ring to attach it without having to use a rivet which I assumed I would have to do. On this application I didn’t have to use the flat rod that came with it. Then I just used the old screws to secure it and it was done. The new pin needed a 1/4” hole which was a little bigger than the original rivet. I thought it was a good idea to put some lithium grease on the teeth of the gears for longevity. It was an exact match.Very happy with this purchase and it came in 2 days.

This item has been with me for a very short time.I recently decided to spruce up my windows by installing some new blinds. Breaking the handle for my windows, I came across the Prime-Line H 3546 Universal Aluminum Louver Operator. The replacement worked great, It's super easy to install (seriously, it took me less than 10 minutes), but it makes for a perfect operator. No more struggling to open and close them manually, now I can just turn the handle and voila! It’s made with diecast construction with an aluminum finish, looking good once placed. You can cut what you don’t need and fits several types of windows too. If you're looking to repair your windows, and are good with some home repair, it’ll be perfect for you. I need to get some more for the other windows on the house.I hope you find this review helpful.

Holy cow are these hard to break off at the lines. I bent and distorted and tried and could not get a clean break. Maybe I just got a bad batch? I also had a hard time making them fit on the left side. I could only get them to work on the right side...did not seem reversible? Instructions showing how to reverse install would have been nice.

Replaced quite a few of my old window operators with these, works on both left and right hand sides if you rotate the product 180 degrees. Very smooth, and sturdy product. Comes with a light grease in the gears for easy operation.
