Typically, I hate plastic anything, but I decided I should have plastic dinnerware for outside. I wanted something sturdy enough that can withstand outdoor abuse, especially from children. I also wanted toxin-free, non-melamine, and I didn't want acrylic. American made was also a must.So, I purchased 2 of these Preserve Everyday Plastic Tableware sets in blue. (I had an issue with one of the sets missing cups, but Amazon customer service took care of it promptly.)These truly have everything you need in the set...plates, bowls, cups and silverware. The plates, cups and bowls are very sturdy...you can even toss them across the yard, and they do not break or crack. The plastic silverware is the most durable I have had of these types.... they actually have an ability to bend instead of snapping and breaking, while still being sturdy enough to use as eating utensils. I think these will be perfect for the roughness children might put them through.I would recommend these. They are simple, practical and durable enough for frequent outdoor use.

Very pleased with this purchase. Worked really well for our camping trip and I’m hoping we get many years of use from them.
