If you have never put ends on quad shield cable before, do yourself a favour and watch a tutorial on YouTube. Before you start also watch a tutorial about setting up your cutter. Proper setting of the cutter is the secret to getting the ends on perfectly the first time. Trust me, it was a good thing that there were 50 in this package. I haven't made cables for a few years. Once I had the cutter set up properly for quad shield cable I was able to do a perfect job the first time every time. I think that this is where people are running into problems and blaming the connectors. They are also very easy to hand tighten. I will definately buy more if I need them.

Great fitting, Quality Built, Connectors. Picked up 50 to have on hand and they are built as I was hoping so very pleased! Going to use Quad Shield RG6 and these are exact fit. Similar to my Thom-Betts I like so yeah happy..

These connectors are the real-deal. They are exactly what the pros in the cable and satellite industry use. They fit regular RG-6 cable plus the double, triple, and quad shield RG-6 cables. They go on very easy but never come off after compressed. And the rubber insulator makes them weatherproof. They install with any type of compression tool designed for RG-6 coax. You can't go wrong with these connectors and the price is great at just pennies for each connector. A pack of 50 for under $12 can't be beat for the high quality.

Once I figured out that the coax needs a little extra love if it's a quad cable I was fine with these connectors and they work great, hold great, and slip right on. I had to search for a video on youtube about how to prep the RG 6 quad cable when I couldn't figure out why the connectors weren't working. Once you strip the coax and pull down the braiding you then ALSO have to peel back the foil and pull down the second layer of braiding - then the connector slips right on and is ready for compressing. Great connectors!
