Instructions are in Chinese! So totally unusable to me. Still have not attempted to install them, but have thought about returning them to see if I can find some with English instructions!

The product provide great illumination to the rear trunk space, especially when it's dark outside. The installation requires the removal of the large interior plastic tailgate cover in order to install the plug-and-play wiring harness. Before re-installing the tailgate cover, plug the light panels into the harness to verify they work and that they can be powered off with the touch-sensitive switch (in the panel center) if the tailgate remains open. If you secure the light panel ends of the harness near the access panels, you can re-install the tailgate cover, pop off the access panels then install the light panels.I encountered a problem post installation with one of the panels. The light assembly came loose from the panel. The tiny screws holding the lights to the panel let go. They were either stripped or insufficiently attached. See photos. I removed the panel and screws then placed a drop of Thread Locker in the screw holes before re-attaching the screws. We'll see how this holds up.

The result is beyond expectations. So happy. I don't understand why this is not a factory option, it is a must for all Siennas. I own a 2024 LE from Canada, the installation has been pretty smooth once you understand how to get the wire through the rubber elbow. Then fishing from there up had been very easy. Do not use the instructions that is provided with the kit, absolutely useless. Just take your time, replay the video 4-5 times if needed.Overall it took me half an hour with the right tools.I have not removed the power from the battery to do the task; you're pretty just disconnecting the back center light and reconnect it through the connector... you're not impacting anything else. And no worries about draining power, it is wired to the same power source as back interior lights. Very satisfied, worth the price.

Very straightforward with slight help from video. No help at all from included instructions in Chinese and pictures that don't look like anything recognizable having to do with this. The hardest part was fishing the wire up from the existing cargo light on panel in front of door opening up the right side to get to the LED light openings. Daisy-chain harness was easy to figure out attaching inline to the cargo area light to trigger the LED's in the door to activate in series. I attached the connector to the wires as soon as I opened the box as I didn't realize that they were shipped unconnected for a reason. You have to fish them through the right hand rubber bridging tube to get the wire from the cargo light in the cargo area to the door. To accomplish this I disconnected the rubber tube from both ends, attached a short wire to the connector and wire harness, electrical taped it up to make it smooth and coated with 3 in 1 oil (see picture). Pushed through the tube easily when you pull it out straight. Applied the oil to the outside of the ends of the rubber tube and they easily popped back into place. Then I worked for 30 minutes using a coat hanger wire to fish up the right side to the location of the LED panels. It can be done, but man it's tight trying to make that 90 degree bend. Once there, it was an easy time stringing the wires for the panels. While there, make sure to swap out the reverse light halogen bulbs for LED's also that are accessible through the panel opening. Really like the LED look on the hatch door. Hopefully lasts a long time. Looks original and probably should have been standard on these minivans. Very satisfied.
