Have a Unifi US-8-150W POE+ switch that died. After research, found this power supply as a replacement candidate. Although this PS is not a direct-fit replacement, it will work. It's footprint is smaller, so does not align perfectly with the OEM standoffs -- requires some modification to the case to securely attach. It's height is perfect and fits within the case no problem. The power input and output connectors are located on the same sides as OEM, so the internal wiring has enough length, but the pin-outs are different. This required modification of the OEM wiring in order to work. The output specs (current) on this PS are a bit lower than OEM, but if you're not using all the ports for passive POE, or POE+ you'll probably be ok. As of this writing (12/2023), Unifi has this switch available for sale for $199.00.

Ps worked perfect in my dead unifi switch. I had to modify the connectors and mounting stands.If you are using it in a unifi 16. Remove the pins from the unifi connectors, cut the slots with a razor knife to a 3 pin and 4 pin. Reinstall pins. Break the stand off off the housing, drill 11/32 holes to line up with the board. Knock the stand offs in the holes and dent the bottom flush ends with a sharp punch to get them to bite into the housing. I hot glued the plastic original protectors on the new ps.Works perfect. I had no support from ubiquiti and mean well does not make the direct replacement.Seller made a shipping error, the fixed it right away and sped up shipping on the second.Thank you guys!
