It's short. It's an extension cord. It's make with high quality. The price is right. I have 19" rack mounted equipment and a rack mount power distribution panel as well as UPS. Some of the power adapters take up more than their fair share of space (for which I fault the manufacturers). I added four of these short extension cords and freed up two blocked outlets on my panel. Star Tech has always been good quality stuff for me.

To be fair this is great extension cable if you need a foot and a half of 120v extension cable and you're only planning on charging your phone or other light applications. A tiny sticker on the cable states 10A125V1250W. Most wall circuits are standard 15A so no plugging hair dryers into this thing. Likely this lower AmpPower is directly due to super thin gauge on this cable (stamped 18 AWG). This purchase was pretty much a waste for me since I didn't see this mentioned anywhere and just assumed 5-15P would honor the traditional 15A of most extension cords. If this power limitation isn't a deal breaker for you then you'll likely enjoy the small footprint of this extension cord. For me, it's going in the trash it's too risky to have it plugged into a 15A circuit and it can't carry the load.

I bought these with my zyxel ethernet adapters. The adapters take too much of the plug. This small extension gives me a lot of working room with adapters that crowd plugs. It's a great item at a cheap price.
