I ordered two of these. One popped right in and works great. The other I had to work for an half hour to get it into place and now when I open my back hatch, it will open 3/4 of the way and then the ram will just pop out and the door trys to fall.

Tiene como dos meses que lo instale en mi cherokee 95 y hasta a horita ha funcionado bien espero y siga asi

Buen producto, sin embargo, desafortunadamente un amortiguador salió mal en ambas puntas. Los seguros venían frágiles y no se ajustan, quedan flojos.

Many reviews here fault the product. Not fair unless the order arrived in a damaged condition. This fix was one degree more diffucult than putting a new tag on our license plate. Find a YouTube video for your make and model. Watch it while you examine the new lifter(s). Then take your time when removing the old lifter(s) note which end goes which way and how the ball and socket connections fit together. That's it. Five minutes a side and an old and annoying problem is history. Seems like a very good value.

You get what you pay for. The pistons on these struts are very strong, but it opens the hatch dangerously fast. I shut the liftgate on my 1996 XJ and the latch didn't fully engage, so the hatch sprung open at warp speed. So hard that it actually broke the plastic heads (that fasten to the joint on the jeep) of both struts at one end. The hatch then slammed down extremely hard and fast. Had I not jumped back, I may not be writing this review. The mounting points on these struts are very cheap plastic for the amount of pressure being exerted on them. Poor quality and dangerous in my opinion.
