borrowed one from a friend, had to get one or two for myself afterward. Their easy to use, hold tight and the price is right

Love this clamp! I've had many Irwin Brand clamps like this, still do that I use. But this one has better tightening features. It gets tighter than the Irwin ones cause it seems to have a smaller click point between each adjustment, allowing it to get a better grab without having that extra play you get sometimes on an odd sized object. It just feels better too. Also quite positive it was cheaper than the 2" Irwin clamp, making it s no-brainer! Truly, you won't be disappointed if your used to using the Irwin/Dewalt/Stanley/Bostitch style. (I know those companies make their own power tools, well kinda, some same company, different line, but they also essentially use the same manufacturer or molding process to make their hand tools but then just switch logos/product color)
