There aren't many items that truly surprise me, but this one did. This little "air duster" is STRONG. I've used compressed air cans for years, but never again. This product is so much better. Having some ability to adjust the pressure is a nice feature. You won't always want this device going at full power. When at full power, it is going to blow the dust off anything you point it at, with none of the condensation you get from the cans. Not to expose my poor housekeeping habits, but as an experiment I laid prone on the floor of my home office while pointing this device at the 8- foot popcorn ceiling. A cloud of dust bunnies was soon raining down from above. I will not be repeating that experiment

Cans of compressed air have long been a staple in my house. I loathe dusting the old-fashioned way so I'm always grabbing a can of air to hose off things. They have a few drawbacks, mostly that they get incredibly cold the longer you use them, and--as I recently discovered--they aren't all that powerful.I was intrigued when I came across the Super Power Turbofan duster and decided to give it a shot. I'm thrilled with its performance. The unit is sleek and comfortable to hold and battery life is good.It has three power modes, low, medium, and high. In the last few days I've tried it on many, many things around the house and I'm really impressed with it. I was skeptical that it would be able to match the performance of my tried and true canned air, but I needn't have worried. In high-power mode it sounds like a jet engine or one of those fancy dryers you find in public restrooms that literally blow the water off your hands. I took it to an air filter and a desktop fan and the pictures show the results wonderfully. It took a few seconds to get my air filter cleaner than I ever have with any other technique. I will definitely be able to reuse my air filters more times before I have to replace them thanks to this air gun.It wasn't as good on the old, caked on dust on my desktop fan, but I was still impressed with how much dust it was able to remove. Usually I have to take apart the fan and clean the blades by hand. That it removed as much dust as it did was really impressive.Medium power mode worked great for the various stuffed animals and other challenging to dust items floating around the house. It's a good setting for lighter objects as high power mode will likely blow them off their shelves. I have a lot of knickknacks and tchotchkes and some of them can be difficult to dust. I've used canned air for years to dust my action figures and Transformers, but I'm much happier with the performance of this cleaning powerhouse. The variable speed is really nice. With compressed air cans, I have to hold each item individually when I dust because the compressed air is too powerful and will just knock them over. With this medium power option I was able to dust most of them without having to pick up each one and that saved me an insane amount of time!Low power mode is good for the tops of dressers and bookcases. Other than that, it's unremarkable. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it as I continue to experiment.Pros: Variable speed, long battery lifeCons: None

I've seen stronger blowers, but they are much larger. This one is about as strong as it could be for a small one that's held and operated comfortably in one hand. The battery capacity of 3000 mAh is particularly impressive. Of course to get total power from that, one must multiply by the working voltage (voltage x current = power, voltage x charge = energy) and that is 5V. according to the side of the tool.So it won't provide as much blowing energy as the larger blowers with larger intake fans, powered by 20V batteries for drills and circular saws. But it's a lot handier and looks nicer. It was plenty to stir the dust up and out of my mechanical keyboard. It would be plenty to get dirt out of the crevices of car seats. It is much stronger than cans of compressed air, and doesn't freeze up after 30 seconds of use, and cheaper too if you use compressed air regularly. There are no nozzle attachments. The air comes out from an opening maybe 1/2 inch in diameter, somewhat smaller than the diameter of the input fan. It is just one piece, simplicity itself. It came to me almost fully charged. After an hour on the charger it was done, and maybe faster but I was busy doing other things. Then you push on the back button to turn it on, and then the front button to start the air flowing. For some reason, like my larger blower, it starts at the highest speed. Then you click the power button on the back to get lower speeds. It will hold the two lower speeds, but you have to keep the front button depressed to keep getting air at the highest power.I haven't come close to running down the battery to know what the total available run time is. After using it a while, it's still showing fully charged (four lights out of four.)There is no filter, nothing internal to clean, and in fact it is all one piece. There are no instructions for opening it up.It uses a standard USB-C input. I appreciate it when there are not proprietary plugs. A short USB-A to USB-C cable is also included, in the unlikely case you need it.
