I am rough on watches. I often get the band stuck on something and end up separating the band from the watch because the pin broke, bent, or got lost in the accident. No point in throwing away a good watch and watch band. I just grab one of these and in seconds, the watch band is reconnected and I just saved myself a ton of money.

These spring bars seem well made, none of the flimsiness I have seen with some watch bands. I like the design, it has a double ring which gives a place to catch the sliding part to remove it without the effort of trying to get a tool under the shoulder of the sliding part. I have not had these long enough to judge how well they last.
