Definitely on the expensive side for what they are, but these Hue Play bars work really well. The phone app is comprehensive and makes it super easy to change my office desk lighting mood whenever I want. Desktop app could be better, but the phone control makes up for it. The lighting effects and ease of use justify the investment if you're into mood lighting.

I got a full kit : 2 play lights + hue bulb and a bridge for C$200 (i guess)The hue bulb is for floor lamp and I have fixed both play light next to my monitor, on the table. They work amazing, very responsive, great colours and brightness.I really liked the hue sync functionality with the play lights, if you put it on high response, they might get a bit annoying, the low response sync works for me.I have paired it with Alexa. Setup was very easy and Straightforward.I wanted to lit my room a little and it did that job. Worth the money.

This has changed the ambience of my living room.Me and my GF love movies.Horror movies = redSci-fi =Green.The lights are rich and vivid.You will have to experiment with the placement to suit your taste. With the exception of the price...Highly recommended.
