I do like the uniqueness but these are seconds. There are chips before glazing, glaze runs, significant glaze inconsistencies, and burrs. I read this on other sites before I ordered and they were correct.I ordered an extra box, kept this best and returned the others. For the price, I’m happy.They are heavy and they don’t fit in a dishwasher like other plates bc of their flatness. Fine bc we don’t have that many dishes. The bottoms are rough not smooth like a pre dipped glaze so use placemats on your table.You can hear them grind when you stack them.Also it says to contact the manufacturer but they would not let me exchange the worst ones. No extra pieces like most of their stock . I had to go back to Amazon and get another box and return a whole box.

Trading some quality issues for style. Overall quality is good for the price. Bottom edge should be better finished from the factory. I used 500 grit so it doesn't scratch my table top. I ordered 2 sets and some of the plates are wobbly.
