This quality blanket has saved my couch but also looks like a nice blanket throw. I have washed it now many times and it still looks new and doesn’t smell where others have over time. It is easy to remove the hair from it when cleaning it but also collects all the extra dirt and water from my dog. She loves it and cuddles up to the thick, quality lush fabric.

I have a 15+ year old tibetan terrier that has started to have occasional accidents in bed. After the second time we had to change the bedding in the middle of the night and clean him up, I decided to order this blanket.It's very soft and doesn't look like something that would be waterproof. I poured around 1/2 cup of water onto the corner and the water was absorbed into the fluffy side of the blanket. There was no moisture on the underside. So far, I would def recommend this blanket.

We got this blanket for our senior dachshund who sometimes seems to forget where she is and will have accidents in the house… she will wake up from a nap, stand up, and just pee right where she is. Or she will start digging and nesting into a pile of blankets, and just pee on them in the midst of it. This blanket started out as a godsend for that purpose because it would absorb everything and nothing would get through to our bed, the dog bed, the floor, or wherever we put the blanket down for her. However, we’ve had to wash it frequently and it hasn’t held up very well over time. You can tell whatever water resistant material is on the inside is cracking and falling apart, so the blanket now has some areas that are no longer water resistant. It has not been a good long-term solution for our need, but I would still say it’s a good solution for a dog that only has occasional accidents or any situation where you wouldn’t need to wash it weekly or more.

I have an adorable spoiled geriatric pug😅 so I wanted something to help protect my furniture in cast of accidents. It is definitely waterproof, but to keep it that way I recommend washing in cold water and be sure to hang it to dry. Do NOT use dryer and it will definitely last longer. Overall it's an ok product. 👍I do wish I had bought a little bit of a larger size to cover the entire couch but it still works. It has a soft "cover" but definitely a little bit of a crunch to it but my pug doesn't really mind.
