I really like the three finger version of this case. I can put the three finger case in my back pant pocket or suit/blazer inside pocket. I like the build, the "pocket" for a humidifier pack, and the value proposition. This cigar case will last!. The 5 finger is obviously too big to carry on your person. I came close to returning, however, I find that it is a great accessory to have in my suitcase when traveling. An extra 5 sticks that are humidified and protected! Locally, if my wife joins me for an evening smoke at our local cigar club, I just load up 5 sticks, toss in a humidification pack, close it, and toss it in my shoulder bag. Later that evening, we have 5 sticks to enjoy! Be creative in how you might use this 5 finger and it will serve you well!

So I've used everything from a Harbor Freight 550 weatherproof case, to an empty Redoxon tube to take cigars on the go with me. The cases just let the cigars roll around, tubes only hold a single cigar, leather 3-5 slot pocket cases look nice but aren't air tight nor as sturdy; anyway I've never been happy and I didn't want to spend a lot. I finally started looking for a 3 slot case again and found this. It is too heavy to really carry in a sports coat interior pocket, but I don't do that anyway, but it is great for a cargo pocket, back pocket, small daypack or backpack, your car seat, glove box, etc. It WILL protect your sticks. I think I could drive over it and it would hold up. When you open it you can feel and hear the vacuum created so it seems air tight. And the humidity pack slot is a complete game changer. Genius. It is just...perfec(t)!

I love this case. Made of a hard composite, your sticks will be safe, but it’s unique trait is a built in “pocket” to hold a humidifier pack. With its tight seal, and a humidifier pack, this is a functional, portable, day (couple of days on the safe side) humidor for three sticks (can accommodate large rings). And, it looks good!

Love it! Carries 5 cigars up to Toro size. Never smoke bigger than toro so perfect for me.
