I've been using this graphite for over 4 years i love it and will only go will pentel for graphite (not to mention their mechanical pencils are amazing)

I bought this to use with my Pentel GraphGear 1000, and the combo has made my life at school a lot easier.The lead provides a smooth writing experience, and I can press hard without worrying that the lead will break (even though it is just 0.5mm).It comes with 12 tubes each containing 12 lead, a total of 144. After writing nearly every day for a year as a student, I have only made it through one tube!It lasts forever and it is amazing to write with, I highly recommend this for your mechanical pencil.

I bought it for the value, and quality. It holds up nicely, the led doesn't break easily and even when I'm under stress I can't seem to break it.

I bought this when it was like $0.99 or $1.99, so it was super worth it. Actually, I think I bought 2 of them back then and I have 1 pack still untouched. I'm still not finished the pack I currently have. I share with my siblings too. It's been maybe 3 years and we still haven't gone through them. We each use about 1 tube of lead per year, minus other freebees people give out to us, which certainly helped extend the life of the pack I'm currently going through. They're certainly great quality, especially given what I paid for them. Its current price is around $14, which I'm not going to buy because I don't need more. Maybe I'd buy another pack if they went back to $1 or $2, but for now, definitely not.

This is excellent pencil lead! The box claims that it is 25% stronger, and I'd believe it. My young son loves using mechanical pencils but sometimes has a little trouble with getting his pressure right. So, he breaks lead fairly frequently. I switched him over to this Pentel lead and he has been doing great with it.I've put it into my pencils too and I am very happy with how smooth and easy it writes. The lines are clear and dark, without skips or bumps, and it lasts for just as long as I would expect.My order included a small gold box which contains 12 individual plastic containers. Inside each container is 12 pieces of lead, which makes for 144 pieces of lead in total.
