I was wanting to get a better 16:9 shaped picture than the current HDMI to composite RCA to feed my old stereo out RF modulator. I did get a better screen fit (with TV 4:3 set to full), but with picture and sound messing up every now and then, it is a much worse situation. This is going back. I may need to just spend the money and get one that does RF to a digital channel.

This product is supposed to output an ATSC signal but it appears to only support NTSC. At least that is what you see on the booklet that comes with the device, and that is what I got when I connected it to my TV. NTSC was phased out years ago.
