Nice size and very much water resistant as described. It's like a crossbody bag in a wetsuit with a very high quality zipper that does a good job keeping out rain, splashes, etc. I would not be surprised if it kept the contents dry for a short period of time if it were dropped in water and recovered quickly.Note that the bag is relatively rigid/thick due to the plasticky/rubberish PVC finish; the bag will keep its shape unless just straight up crushed. The finish is very utilitarian and practical...this is a simple, black bag meant to protect its contents, not a fashion statement, unless you find a matte black rectangular bag with huge lettering on the front to be fashionable. In any case, the bag has quality appropriate to the Pelican brand and asking price.I like the large single compartment with a net on one side, a key loop, and the phone pocket on the other side. The window for the phone does allow for touchscreen control as advertised HOWEVER you can' t unlock your phone with fingerprints through the window so for any device that works this way (like Samsung phones) it really is of limited use since you sitll have to remove the phone from the case to unlock it. If you have PIN lock or a phone that uses biometrics other than fingerprints I suspect this will not be a problem...in any case it's not the product's fault...just a reality for phones that use fingerprint unlock.We'll be taking this with us on hikes and our upcoming cruise. For running around town on port days, hiking, or boating this is a solid option to keep personal items secure and a bit more easily accessible than the little fold up backpacks we usually use for hikes and running around town when traveling. I'll certianly feel more comfortable with phones and wallets in this bag vs. my pocket or our little travel backpacks.

This bag seems to be made completely out of rubber, even the seams are somehow made of rubber. This is a good thing because it makes the case more resistant to water, but the tradeoff is that it makes it rigid. It is the type of bag/case that I would use in specific cases, like going to the beach but not the kind that I could use everywhere, and it happens to be durable and waterproof.The zippers are a bit hard to open and maybe they will loosen up over time but for now it's not ideal to open and close this bag multiple times a day.The pocket to put a cellphone in, is a good touch but it is a very slim opening and can barely hold a s24ultra in a dual layer case.

I have used some of Pelican's other products to protect my equipment from water and environmental damage, so I was eager to try out this sling. It is made from a rubberized material that is water resistant. I wouldn't take it under water, but it would keep your stuff dry in the pouring rain! It has a zipper that is also rubberized and looks maximized to keep out the moisture. It would be great for traveling to a beach or taking to a theme park when there might be a chance of rain or on a ride that has a splash. It'll keep your stuff dry. The front pocket holds my 16 pro iPhone and is large. It'll hold any kind of phone. I was able to navigate my screen with ease through the window. There are a couple of pockets inside to help keep your stuff organized. On the outside, the zipper has a toggle so it is easy to open with gloves and there is a clip to attach your keys or whatever else to keep them accessible. I was surprised it was so inexpensive. It's a good quality pouch for the money.

I completely love this IP64 water-resistant PVC-Coated 500D Polyester sling bag. I've been using it daily since it arrived. I work as a freelance gardener, and it's perfect for the outdoors and for storing the items that I keep with me while working, which would include my phone, keys, wallet, mp3 player and lip balm. The bag's shape provides plenty of room for those essential items, and I don't have to overstuff it to fit everything into it. Because of its design, I can comfortably keep the bag on me the entire time that I am working. The touchscreen compatible window section of the phone pouch makes it possible to use the phone without removing it from the sling bag. This eliminates the multiple concerns I've had in the past surrounding carrying and using an expensive iPhone while working outdoors in the heat and in the dirt and near a water hose. I love the key lanyard inside the bag because it means I can quickly locate and grab my keys when I need them. And the carabiner on the outside of the bag may come in handy for carrying an extra item. I'm really glad that I ordered this thoughtfully designed and great quality sling bag when given the opportunity to try it, and I highly recommend it.

This has become my favorite sling bag to carry around on my walks. I've got an Osmo pocket and this tucks away very nicely in this bag to keep it dry even when it's rainy or snowy outside.The build of this bag is so good. The zippers are the easiest I've ever pulled on a dry bag. I love the shape of this bag as it allows me to easily put in my phone, keys and camera. It also slings across my body easily and always feels comfortable to walk around with. So comfortable that I take this one over my North Face pouch now.The bag has a clear window for using with your cell phone. Facial recognition through this isn't great but It definitely has good touch response and the window doesn't have any kind of wrinkling that would affect your ability to tap. Also important to note that I'm using it with an iphone 15 pro.Overall, I'm very happy with this and love the versatility it provides when I'm traveling.
