The part that attaches to my drill did not fit very well and falls out. All other pieces work fine

The description of this product grabbed me, and I thought I would try it. It strips solid AWG wire, installs and removes wire nuts, and twists wires together. If you have a lot of fixtures to install, like in a new house build or a major renovation, it would be great. for a one-outlet install or small wiring project, not so much. By the time you get it out and adjust it, you could have been done by using a pocket knife. It comes with a little case with cutouts in the foam for the pieces. It also comes with one each of several sizes of wire nut in a zip-lock baggie that doesn't fit in the case anywhere. Just for example, I suppose. It does a great job stripping several sizes of AWG solid wire and produces very consistent results (don't try it on stranded wire). You can adjust the length of the stripped portion of the wire for different purposes. There are cutter heads for AWG 14-6. Most homeowners would need 14 and 12. Sometimes 10, but 8 and 6 are for professionals. It comes with a spare blade, but I suspect finding more would be difficult. It also can be very helpful installing wire nuts designed for it - but you need to have a supply of the right design wire nut. My favorite, that I have a couple of hundred of, won't work at all. Maybe you can find matching wire nuts locally - I haven't tried yet.It comes with an instruction "manual" on a slip of paper. I've already lost it, but it was pretty useless, and obviously written by someone for whom English was learned in high school as an elective. Luckily, the use of the components of the kit is pretty intuitive. I suppose the amount of effort put into the manual was consistent with the need of a manual in the first place.I'd say if you have a lot of wiring to do, this could make it easier and produce more consistent results (and then you have it for next time). The quality is fine. But if you just occasionally need to replace an outlet or switch, don't bother with it.
