This is my new favorite tool to grab.Yes, it's ridiculous. $80 dollars for a stubby? Ratcheting or not, that's pretty steep. This screwdriver just FEELS so great to use though, I don't care. The ratcheting mechanism is as precise as you'd expect from a nation known for their clock making abilities. The Santoprene handle is slightly tacky without feeling gluey and unlike cold plastic handles, it warms pretty quickly even when used out in chilly weather.Unless you need to harness the rotation of the Earth into a full-size handle to torque something really deserving of it, I've found the grip on this to be more than adequate to hand tighten or loosen most things I'd expect a standard-size screwdriver to do.I've done home chores with this tool, brought it to work for machine maintenance duties, dropped it a few times on concrete as well as out in the snow trying to screw together a flapping awning... it's competently handled it all.Accepts any 1/4" Hex bit. I've used bits both short and long from Wera, DeWalt, Craftsman, a couple oddball Chinese brands and even those "flat hex" bits that Leatherman makes, in this screwdriver... they all work nicely. There is no locking chuck, but the magnet that is used to retain the bits in the PB Swiss has to be one of the strongest I've encountered. I've not had a bit "fall out" with this once. The included bits stored in the handle are precise and beautifully machined. Really, this is a lovely little screwdriver I think anyone would be happy to use.Lifetime Warranty is equally impressive, tells me the company really stands behind their products.Yes, it's expensive. But I think if you asked me to "Name your favorite" screwdriver in your tool bag right now, this would be my choice hands down.

The price seemed high, but researched showed this do be the highest quality ratcheting stubby screwdriver. I have to say that it is of much higher quality than any ratcheting stubby that I've ever used. I've had many brands, but PB Swiss has by far the smoothest action, least amount of play, and most durable bits. No regrets of the cost.

Would be nice to have a few more teeth but hard to complain. The mechanics are by far the highest quality of any similar item from other brands I’ve tried. Bit carousel doesn’t feel cheap and gimmicky. Strong magnetism on the bits. Expensive but if you use it everyday I say worth it.

This is by far the most expensive screwdriver I have ever owned. It is totally worth it. I purchased it to carry in a fairly compact chest tool pouch. This is a tight design with a lot in a small package. The action is buttery smooth and toggle directions is very easy. The bits are solid but I might swap a few to tailor it more to my usual tasks. Highly recommend buying this one. Save if you have to. Buy the right tool once and never think about it again.

Beautifully made and perfectly finished. The best ratcheting lock I’ve ever used- rock solid without any play whatsoever makes it as good as a solid screwdriver when needed.
