I have tried several different food dispensers, and this one tops my list. I believe it's the unit's simplicity that makes it so appealing to me. You simply set the time and the timer for the times you want your fish to be fed, and it operates perfectly on its own! It holds a tremendous amount of food and works flawlessly. For the price, this item is an incredible value and performs just as described. I highly recommend it.

This auto fish feeder is nice, easy to setup and configure for smaller portion sizes, battery powered. It has swappable feeding trays to adjust portion per feeding, but the smallest portion size is still a little larger than I like for my saltwater tank with 8 fish. I would rather have it feed two smaller portions twice a day than a single larger portion, but I have the smallest tray in and it's still a little too much. The hopper holds a LOT of food. It holds more than the entire food container that I buy for my fish which already lasts about 8 months. It's a little bulky, but for larger tanks, it's probably perfect. My tank is a 50 gallon cube but I haven't found any feeders for tanks that size with the amount of fish I have. It works very well though, can be set to feed at 3 different times and multiple feelings, and one touch manual feeding. It also looks much nicer and is less invasive than the other horizontal style feeder I was using.

It works,It is small,my fish didn't go hungry. The picture shows a usb port,this unit doesn't have it.Over all I am happy.

If you know how to set up a watch than this product is simple to use. This feeder works well with pellets. Don't recommend using flakes.

Very customizable.You can pick how often it feeds, how many trays full of food it gives each time, the trays are interchangeable.I use this so keep a steady, bare minimum diet going for my fish. For the times when I forget. I also supplement it with hand feeding regularly. Works better with little flakes, or pellets/chunks, not so great with the bigger flakes, you may need to crush em a little.Pretty nice piece of equipment, sturdy, well built, and battery operated which works on my because I'm short on outlets.
